Just got back from the Madison Horse fair. And man, could I tell you guys, what a blast!!!! I will start from the beginning!

Woke up at 6 a.m. (Did you know there was an a.m.? Why didn't anyone ever tell me!!!! ) I had gotten everything ready the night before or I knew I would forget something. Left the house at 6:30, and when all my radio stations wouldn't play anything good/at all, I put my Joe Nichols CD in. See, instead of drinking a good ole cup of joe, I have to listen to my joe to wake up. It started skipping, and not playing really good on a song I havent heard in a loooong time, so I turned it off, grabbing my phone to call my station to ask them to play it. But the exact song was on, and at the part I left off! Wow! And its not his newest song either. Its like...3 songs before it. So it was really weird, but cool! Got to the person's house I was meeting at and we all piled in the car. We stopped at a grocery store first and picked up a few things and we were off! To Madison we go!!!

It took us about an hour and a half to get there, and when we did, first thing I did was take pictures of the capitol. I've only been there once before, and never got pictures so I was glad I got to this time. We got to the fair, and by this time, I was about ready to jump out of the car! Horses, horses, and more horses! Everywhere!!!! Took us about a half hour to park our car, but then we got to in! We first went to the colisueum and watched the friesians run around, and do their gaits. They also had some of them pulling carts, and a yearling, and just a itty bitty baby. (Don't think itty bitty is quite the word to use for a friesian...) but it was tiny compared to the others. She asked if I wanted to go take closer pictures, and I was like, "YEAH!" so we walked down the entrance of the colisueum and took picture after picture! We stayed there for a long time taking pictures of all the different horses. I was jumping up and down, and hyper active through all this. Horses horses horses!!!

Then we got to go shopping! I got a zip up fleece with horseshoes on the front, and a big clydesdale logo on the back, a hoodie with two belgians pulling a cart and breyers. I got a Fox valley Oliver for only $36! Cheveyo was that price too but I decided to pass for now. I also got a companion animals set with a black and white JRT, a blue merle sheltie, and a corgi for $9. They had the black lab Search and Rescue one I wanted, but I passed. I'll find it some day again. This stand also had $2 stablemates out of the package, and a bunch in the package for less than $3. I didn't buy any, but it was a good deal!

Then we went to barns again(not too good at keeping events in order, just as an FYI lol) and met some really neat horses. Santiago for one. He was beautiful!!!! Then we went back to get more pictures of the horses coming out for different events. We went back to the car around...1:30 ish, and found a chocolate lab panting and panting in the car, with no water at all. His gums were getting really pale, so me and Chantze (her grandson) went to report it. We went back to the car at around 3:30, and the dog was still in there!!!! The people who had a car in front of us had given him some water, and stuck the bottles in between the windsheild wipers. They were talking about reporting it, but I told them we already had. So me and Chantze headed back to the office, while Sharon went to go get seats. We told him the dog was still there, and his gums were getting really really pale. Not good. So he called the mounted police officers, and told them they would meet us there. We didn't want to walk back, but if we had to, I would've. Then a lady from the office got us someone to take us back in the gator. That was fun! When we got there, no one was there. We found out later that no one could've come. What if we had walked out there again!? Gah! We rode back, and talked to a regular police officer, and she said they would try and do something.

So we went back to the colisueum and tried to find Sharon where she said she would be, but wasn't. We sat down, but I wasn't enjoying the show, without knowing if Sharon was really worried. So we got up, and started searching each section. I ran into the girl that has the horses I rode last summer, and talked to her for a bit. We headed back, unsure what to do. I then thought we saw her, so we hurried over there, but it wasn't her. So I was looking around, and all of a sudden saw her waving! phew! So we went and sat by her. They finished the Stallion review, then went on to the liberty. That was fun! They turned their horse loose, then let it run all over the arena. SOme of them needed coaxing, but this one was such a showoff! An arabian, tail flagging, head up the whole time, it was awesome to watch! When that was done we went back to the barns, and this lady took her horse out so I could take a better picture. A dapple grey draft looking horse Oh, he was incredible! We finished walking the barns, then left. When we got to the car, the dog and car was gone, so I hope the dog was ok.
